- 60 challenges: 20 missions x 3 modes (Campaign, Heroic, Trial of Will)
- Hardcore Mode: max difficulty, fixed rules; boosters disabled - pure tactics and skill
- 6 tower types: Machine Gun, Cannon, Sniper (pierces), Slow, Laser (great vs shields), Anti-Air (AA)
- Special abilities: deploy powerful skills to turn the tide in tough situations
- Deep Research: upgrade trees in the Hangar using Research Points - earned only, never sold
- Air attacks: plan around flight paths and prepare your AA defenses
- Terrain & obstacles: clear props to claim better positions and create stronger crossfire
